RESTORE Review

I received this product to review for free from MomsMeet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links.

I feel like gut health is a hot topic in a lot of circles. There are good reasons for that though, and I want to ensure my family maintains a healthy digestive system. When it comes down to it, there are so many differing ideas of how to do that. I think most people understand the basics of eating a healthy, varied diet, paying attention to what types of foods your body does not tolerate, avoiding simple carbs, avoiding pesticides, and staying healthy while avoiding antibiotics unless necessary.

But when it comes to adding good bacteria and probiotics, there are so many choices available that it makes my head spin! Did you know that the good benefits of probiotics can plateau? They often contain so few species that it just doesn't help our bodies like we hope it would.

Restore is different. Restore is a unique gut health product because it contains no probiotics! It is intended to put your system on a path to a nutrient rich, healthy environment for the good bacteria to return to your gut, eliminate overgrowth, and naturally create a healthy digestive system. It works sort of like a communication system to provide your own body with the tools it needs to create a healthy environment unique to you.

The following video may be helpful in understanding how Restore works. If you want to get even more scientific, watch the video How RESTORE Works.

Isn't that fascinating? This product doesn't add good bacteria and hope that everything will improve, Restore works to strengthen the gut lining so it can naturally flourish! Did you know that the majority of our immune system is in the gut membrane and gastrointestinal-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT)? If our gut lining is healthy and strong, things won't get through it that shouldn't. Think of it as your internal filtering system, keeping chemicals, fiber, and more in the gut where they should be, rather than leaking into the bloodstream and causing all sorts of havoc (that most people don't even recognize as leaky gut). One more benefit is that brain function and mood improves when the gut lining is sealed and healthy.

Some lab studies and peer-reviewed journal articles have shown that Restore protects the gut lining against the effects of both gluten and glyphosate. Very nice.

Restore sent me a 16 fl. oz. bottle, a 3 oz. bottle containing a 6 day supply (perfect for travelers), and a sinus spray. I started taking Restore as soon as I received it, but I had set the sinus spray aside.

Even after learning all of the above information, it still makes my head spin to attempt to comprehend why Restore works. I'd like to make it a little easier to understand and let you know that when I am taking Restore daily, I just feel better. Physically, digestively, as well as a little better mentally. On days I forgot to take Restore, I feel more tired than when I do take it.

In fact, during the review period I started to feel the beginnings of a nasty sinus infection coming on. You know the kind where it feels like your face is stuffed full of something and breathing through the nose is getting difficult. I pulled out the sinus spray, used it before I went to bed, and again the next morning. I noticed the symptoms weren't as severe as the day before. By the second day and a couple more uses of the nasal spray, all symptoms were gone. That's not what the sinus spray instructions said it should be used for, but it is what made sense to me considering everything I had learned about Restore. That's also not normal for me and a sinus infection... usually they knock me out for a week!

This product is a watery tan color and tastes a little metallic to me, but it's a very faint taste. I don't mind the flavor and it's easy to swallow. Restore contains Terrahydrite (stabilized lignite extract) as its main ingredient. Other ingredients are purified water and less than 1% (trace amounts) of chloride, sodium, lithium, calcium, phosphorous, sulfur, bromide, potassium, iron, antimony, zinc, copper, gold, magnesium, alanine, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, methionine, theonine, valine.  There are some things there that worry me in that list, though at trace amounts I'm not as concerned. Yet, I'm still doing my own research on this product.

The bottle says you should take Restore three times a day, one teaspoon each time. If you'd like to try RESTORE, be sure to use the following coupon code to take 20% off everything at restore4life.com/try-restore-today/ using code B7X66JY. (Code expires July 16, 2017)
